How age is calculated
Age is the calendar difference between the birth date and the reference date: count the whole years, then the leftover months and days. The calculator respects each month's length and leap years, so "1 year and 2 months" matches the real calendar rather than an average of days.
Age in months, weeks and days
Besides years, it shows the total months, weeks and days lived — useful for tracking a baby's age in months, hitting a milestone ("10,000 days alive"), or plain curiosity. The day count is exact; the years/months/days reading is the everyday one.
Reference date
It uses today by default, but change the reference date to find an age on a specific day: how old someone will be at a wedding, or was at a past event. Just adjust the second field.
