The healthy BMI range
The most defensible answer is a range, not a number: the weights that put your BMI between 18.5 and 24.9. Multiply each cutoff by your height in meters squared. At 1.75 m that is 18.5 × 1.75² to 24.9 × 1.75² — about 56.7 to 76.3 kg. Anywhere in that band is a healthy weight for your height.
The Devine formula
When people want a single figure, the Devine formula is the classic: 50 kg (men) or 45.5 kg (women) for the first 5 feet of height, plus 2.3 kg for each inch above that. It was designed for medication dosing, not as a beauty standard — treat it as one reference among several.
Weight is not the whole story
None of these account for muscle, frame or body composition. A muscular person can sit above the "healthy" band and be perfectly fit, while someone inside it can carry excess fat. Use the range as a rough guide and look at waist measurement and body-fat percentage for a fuller picture.
