How the conversion works
You add the offset difference. If it is 12:00 in New York (UTC-5) and you want London (UTC 0), the difference is +5, so it is 17:00 there. When the result crosses midnight, the calculator flags +1 day (or -1).
Watch out for daylight saving
The zones here are standard offsets. Many places shift 1 hour for daylight saving time for part of the year — most of the US and Europe do, on different dates. Check the specific date when you schedule, and adjust by an hour if needed.
