Service by mileage or by time
Automakers set service by whichever comes first: mileage (often every 5,000–7,500 miles for an oil change) or time (typically 12 months). Drive a lot and you hit the mileage first; drive little and the time interval reminds you. This calculator focuses on mileage and estimates the time from your monthly average.
Why not to skip it
